#3 Automatic Blackout Backup Switch 12V
An automatic switch to provide power to a 12V pump/item in the event of a blackout.
The unit plugs into a mains power outlet via a 1m cable. 240V is stepped down to harmless 12V.
The unit comes complete with 1m of cable and 30A clips to attach a 12V battery (not supplied)and 1m of cable ready to connect to a device such as a bilge pump (not supplied) pull-apart connectors are supplied to safely attach your 12V device, This aids in removal/replacement of the device if needed.
When properly connected, the unit will automatically switch on a 12V device in the event of a blackout and also automatically switch it off once power is restored, returning your system to its normal state and potentially saving hundreds of dollars of aquatic life and many months waiting for new stock to grow.
Can be used over and over, will give many years of peace of mind.
