Timber Grading Services
The Building Services Authority (BSA) requires that any
timber used in construction within Australia has to be categorised by the grade of that timber. This gives a rating as to the relative strength of that individual piece of timber, which then governs what application the timber can be used in, and how it will perform in that application.
As a result of this, Reall Milling can provide a unique service to customers; qualified grading of hardwoods, which conforms to the Australian Standard AS2082. So in layman’s terms this means that any timber cut by us can be used in the construction of buildings.
Also further to this, Reall Milling is available to outsource our grading staff to accommodate those who have cut timber, which may need grading before being used in construction.
